Very expected game in Kauhajoki where 12th rankedKobrat (2-14) was defeated by second ranked Karhubasket (12-4) 78-65 on Saturday. American-Nigerian power forward Ike Nweke (201-2000, college: Quinnipiac) fired 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Eemi Luukkonen (203-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Karhubasket's coach Janne Koskimies used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Efton Reid III (213-2002, college: Wake Forest) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international power forward Mikael Aalto (208-1994, agency: Blacktop Management) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Karhubasket keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Vilpas and Honka. Kobrat lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 14 games lost.
