Worth to mention about the upset in a game betweenHyPo (6-6) and Pajulahti (4-7), which took place in Lahti. Higher ranked HyPo was outleveled in a road game by tenth ranked Pajulahti 106-84 on Saturday. Pajulahti forced 22 HyPo turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by Velmeri Niemento who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Eetu Pyykko (183-2006) supported him with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Pajulahti players scored in double figures. Even 31 points (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) by forward Akseli Leppanen (195-2002) did not help to save the game for HyPo . Guard Sami Marouf (188-1988) added 7 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pajulahti moved-up to eighth place, which they share with TuNMKY. Loser HyPo keeps the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with KTP II.
