Very predictable result in Joensuu where seventh rankedKataja (14-14) smashed bottom-ranked Kobrat (5-23) 103-73 on Sunday. Kataja looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kobrat 's players. The best player for the winners was American guard DeVion Harmon (188-2001, college: Texas Tech) who scored 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import forward Jermaine Marshall (198-2000, college: Samford) chipped in 5 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Kataja's coach Petri Virtanen felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
