Regular Season Round 10: Saint Quentin - Gravelines 83-86

There was a surprise result when ninth rankedGravelines-Dunkerque (5-5) edged on the road higher ranked Saint-Quentin (6-4) 86-83 on Friday. Gravelines made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Strangely Saint Quentin outrebounded Gravelines 40-23 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Gravelines shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American point guard Glynn Watson Jr (183-1997, college: Nebraska) notched 27 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and the other American import swingman Chris Babb (196-1990, college: Iowa St.) supported him with 22 points and 5 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Even a double-double of 12 points and 17 rebounds by Polish center Dominik Olejniczak (213-1996, college: FSU) did not help to save the game for Saint Quentin . American Jerome Robinson (197-1997, college: Boston Coll.) added 22 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saint-Quentin's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Gravelines moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Saint-Quentin dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Bourg.
