Regular Season Round 16: Tours - Toulouse 81-88

There was an upset when higher ranked Tours (9-7) lost at home to tenth ranked Toulouse (7-9) 88-81 on Friday. Toulouse forced 24 Tours turnovers. The winners were led by Jamaican-American forward Willesley Butler (203-1996, college: UAB) who scored that evening 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Alexandre Aygalenq (187-1997) supported him with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by American guard Collin Turner (185-1995, college: Angelo St.) did not help to save the game for Tours. His fellow American import Bernie Andre (198-1997, college: UT Martin) added 17 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Toulouse moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser Tours dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Toulouse will meet higher ranked Lorient (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tours will play against Rennes and hope to secure a win.
