There was an upset when higher rankedGravelines-Dunkerque (6-6) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked JSF Nanterre (5-7) 89-83 on Sunday. Nanterre forced 21 Gravelines turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Ahmad Caver (188-1996, college: ODU) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 assists and the former international point guard Benjamin Sene (188-1994) who added 16 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Chris Babb (196-1990, college: Iowa St.) with 23 points and 4 assists and American-Filipino Tajuan Agee (206-1997, college: Iona) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Five Nanterre and four Gravelines players scored in double figures. Nanterre moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Limoges and Nancy. Loser Gravelines-Dunkerque keeps the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Le Mans and Strasbourg. Nanterre will meet at home league's leader Cholet in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Gravelines will play against Chalon/Saone (#14) and hope to secure a win.
