There was a minor upset when 8th rankedMetz (8-10) was edged on the road by eleventh ranked Feurs (9-10) 87-86 on Friday. Feurs shot 24 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Metz only scored six points from the stripe. Feurs forced 21 Metz turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Deontaye Buskey (185, college: Charleston So.) who led the winners and scored 22 points. Point guard Bryan Coudray (189-2000) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Feurs players scored in double figures. Point guard Mathis Bouvret (185-2000) came up with 8 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and guard Alexandre Karolak (192-1995) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively for Metz in the defeat. Feurs moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Toulouse and Lyon. Newly promoted Metz dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost.
