We should mention about the upset which took place in Vichy, where higher rankedGries-Souffel (11-10) was outleveled in a road game by fifteenth ranked JA Vichy (9-12) 97-67 on Friday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gries-Souffel. Vichy made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Gries-Souffel turnovers. Naturalized Ivorian point guard Assemian Moulare (184-2003) stepped up and scored 26 points and 5 assists for the winners and American guard Jordan Shepherd (193-1997, college: California) chipped in 19 points. Four JA Vichy players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Yvann MBaya (209-2001) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and American Shannon Bogues (190-1997, college: SF Austin) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JA Vichy have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourteenth place. Loser Gries-Souffel dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Poitiers.
