Regular Season Round 17: Nancy - Dijon 85-104

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth rankedJDA Dijon and 11th ranked Sluc Nancy had identical 7-9 record. But Sluc Nancy was not able to use a home court advantage and was outplayed by the opponent from Dijon 104-85 on Saturday night. Dijon looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was Slovenian Gregor Hrovat (196-1994) who scored 26 points. American point guard David Holston (169-1986, college: Chicago St.) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. Jamaican center Shevon Thompson (213-1993, college: GMU) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American point guard Chris Clemons (175-1997, college: Campbell) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Nancy players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for JDA Dijon . They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Chalon/Saone. Nancy lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Gravelines and Strasbourg.
