There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedMetz (11-13) edged at home higher ranked Mulhouse (14-11) 85-84 on Friday. Metz looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. Romain Dardaine (200-1988) nailed 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side and center Vincent Pourchot (222-1992) accounted for 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Power forward Vladimir Ilic (203-1999) came up with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Kilian Incredule (175-1996) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for Mulhouse in the defeat. Five Metz and four Mulhouse players scored in double figures. Mulhouse's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
