Regular Season Round 15: Aulnoye - Nice 70-86

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Aulnoye's (5-10) home loss to eighth ranked Nice (7-8) 70-86 on Saturday. Nice forced 20 Aulnoye turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for center Nabala Fofana (186-2000) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Elise Cammas (178-1997) helped adding 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Yvanna Enjolvy (-2001) with 15 points and 8 assists and point guard Helene Jakovljevic (176-2000) scored 14 points and 7 assists. Five Nice and four Aulnoye players scored in double figures. Nice moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Alencon. Aulnoye lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. Nice will meet at home higher ranked La Tronche (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aulnoye will play against Le Havre and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
