Second Stage Round 2: Metz - Angers 77-81

ButMetz was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Angers 81-77 on Friday night. Angers outrebounded Metz 43-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. Angers looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Lucas Veraghe (197-2001) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Eddy Djedje (197-1995) supported him with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals by Nigerian-American guard Michael Nwabuzor (188-1996, college: NMHU) did not help to save the game for Metz . Center Vincent Pourchot (222-1992) added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game.
