Regular Season Round 18: PVBC - Toulouse 69-73

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Voiron. First ranked Toulouse faced second-best PVBC. Guests from Toulouse (14-4) defeated host PVBC (12-6) 73-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of PVBC. It was a good game for Spanish point guard Binta Drame-Lo (171-2002) who led her team to a victory with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized Mali Assetou Traore (-1995) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Emma Villas-Gomis (190-1998, college: N.Texas) replied with 17 points and guard Chloe Mantelin (173-1997) added 17 points in the effort for PVBC. Toulouse have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-4 record. PVBC at the other side keeps the second place with six games lost. They share the position with Montbrison and Feytiat. Toulouse will play against bottom-ranked CFBB (#12) in Paris in the next round which should be an easy win for them. PVBC will play on the road against Aulnoye (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
