No shocking result in a game when eleventh rankedChalon/Saor (9-12) defeated on the road bottom-ranked La Rochelle (3-18) 86-77 on Sunday. Chalon/Saone outrebounded La Rochelle 37-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. Chalon/Saone looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Cameroonian-American point guard Jeremiah Hill (188-1995, college: Valdosta St.) stepped up and scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Serbian center Dusan Ristic (213-1995, college: Arizona) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Hill is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was point guard Matheo Leray (186-2003) with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and naturalized Spanish guard Tom Digbeu (195-2001) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Chalon/Saone and five La Rochelle players scored in double figures. La Rochelle's coach Julien Cortey rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Chalon/Saone moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Dijon. Newly promoted La Rochelle stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost.
