Second Stage Round 3: Fougeres - Feurs 73-80

The most surprising game was a loss of Fougeres (10-5) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Feurs (8-6) 80-73. It was a great evening for American guard Deontaye Buskey (185, college: Charleston So.) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. DR Congolese forward Charles Nkaloulou (200-1994, agency: Promo Sport ID) helped adding 19 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was power forward Alexis Thomas (208-1995) with 11 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Maxime Choplin (180-1992) scored 9 points and 5 assists. Four Fougeres players scored in double figures. Fougeres' coach Mathieu Lemercier rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Feurs are looking forward to face Rennes (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fougeres will play against Charleville and is hoping to win this game.
