We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th rankedMetz (13-24) was edged on the road by twelfth ranked Poissy (11-26) 93-91 on Friday. Poissy looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Angolan forward Melvyn Da Silva (198-1999) who led the winners and scored 27 points. Center Rodney Rolle (206-2002) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Romain Dardaine (200-1988) came up with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Nigerian-American guard Michael Nwabuzor (188-1996, college: NMHU) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Metz in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Poissy maintains twelfth place with 11-26 record. Metz lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with 24 games lost. They share it with Charleville.
