There was no surprise in Boulogne-sur-Mer where 13th rankedPole France (9-29) was defeated by second ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (20-18) 81-70 on Thursday. Boulogne had a 29-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Maydden Nnah-Ndong (193-2000) who scored 16 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Trinidad and Tobago guard Zidane Moore (188-2001, college: Lewis & Clark) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Hugo Moukouri (205-2008) who recorded 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Nathan Soliman (204-2009) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pole France's coach Francois Peronnet rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SO Maritime Boulogne have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-18 record having nine points less than leader Fougeres, which they share with Tours and Lyon. Loser Pole France keeps the thirteenth place with 29 games lost.
