Second Stage Round 14: Boulogne - Angers 74-71

Important game to mention about took place in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Fourth ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (21-19) saved a 3-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers Etoile Angers (20-20) 74-71 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Etoile Angers. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Point guard Victor Maury (186-2004) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Nolan Kingue (195-2003) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Five SO Maritime Boulogne players scored in double figures. Benjamin Mondesir (195-1999) responded with 26 points and American point guard Jacoby Ross (178-1997, college: Lindenwood) scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Boulogne moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Angers at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Besancon and Vitre.
