Regular Season Round 1: Blois - Saint-Chamond 85-81

ADA Blois used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Saint Chamond 85-81 on Friday night. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Blois looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American point guard Eric Nottage (187-1994, college: FIU) stepped up and scored 16 points and 7 assists for the winners and point guard Timothe Vergiat (188-1998) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. Nottage is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side Arthur Bruyas (198-2000, agency: BIG) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American-Saint Lucian forward Carlos Pepin (201-2000, college: ESU) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Saint Chamond's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
