Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighteenth rankedPoitiers and 16th ranked Saint Chamond had identical 1-3 record. But Saint Chamond was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Poitiers 105-92 on Friday night. Poitiers shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Poitiers' coach Andy Thornton-Jones used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Sebastien Cape (185-1993) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals and Arthur Bruyas (198-2000, agency: BIG) added 21 points respectively for Saint-Chamond in the defeat. Five Poitiers and four Saint-Chamond players scored in double figures. Poitiers (2-3) moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Saint Chamond dropped to the eighteenth position with four games lost. They share it with Gries-Souffel.
