Very expected game when 19th rankedGries-Souffel (1-4) lost at home to fourteenth ranked Aix-Maurienne (2-2) 80-73 on Friday. American guard Donovan Donaldson (185-1996, college: Tusculum) nailed 16 points for the winning side and accounted for 9 points and 9 rebounds. Donaldson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Aix-Maurienne's coach Julien Cros used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Bruno Cingala-Mata (205-1993, agency: Network Sports International) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and Kosovan-American point guard Divine Myles (180-1996, college: Stetson) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively for Gries-Souffel in the defeat. Four Gries-Souffel players scored in double figures. Aix-Maurienne moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Antibes and Quimper. Gries-Souffel lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighteenth position with four games lost. They share it with Saint-Chamond.
