Everything went according to plan when top-rankedSTB Le Havre (6-0) defeated on the road 9th ranked Berck (2-3) 87-80 on Friday. Le Havre looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Point guard Thibault Desseignet (178-1998) notched 16 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and naturalized American forward Marc Gosselin (201-1996, college: WCU) supported him with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Even 18 points and 7 rebounds by Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (204-1988) did not help to save the game for Berck . American guard Raijon Kelly (193-1993, college: Angelo St.) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. STB Le Havre have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record, which they share with Levallois and Orchies. Loser Berck keeps the ninth place with three games lost.
