There was no surprise when bottom-rankedPole France (0-7) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Tours (6-2) 86-72 on Friday. Tours forced 23 Pole France turnovers and outrebounded them 41-19 including a 26-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tours looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording 14 points and American guard Jordan Barham (194-1994, college: Davidson) who added 14 points during the contest. Tours' coach Moatassil Rhennam used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Yael Masdieu-Reynaert responded with 18 points and 4 assists and Nathan Soliman (204-2009) scored 10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tours moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Pole France still closes the standings with seven games lost. Tours will meet Lorient (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pole France will play against Chartres (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
