Everything went according to plan when twelfth rankedNantes (4-4) defeated at home 16th ranked Hyeres-Toulon (2-6) 88-82 on Tuesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Nantes made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Hyeres-Toulon outrebounded Nantes 41-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by guard Mathys Kangudia (189-2004) who scored that evening 25 points and American-Dominican guard EJ Dambreville (191-1998, college: FSC) supported him with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Moses Greenwood (201-1997, college: SE Louisiana, agency: JCK Sports Group) did not help to save the game for Hyeres-Toulon . Forward Elwin Ndjock (200-2001) added 19 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Five Hyeres-Toulon players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nantes moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Hyeres-Toulon lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Evreux and Saint-Chamond.
