Regular Season Round 6: Limoges - Le Portel 74-79

Le Portel can celebrate finally their first win this season after six consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Limoges CSP Elite (3-4) on the road game in Limoges 79-74 on Tuesday. Forward Ivan Fevrier (202-1999) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Mathieu Boyer (206-1995) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Le Portel players scored in double figures. Le Portel's coach Kenneth Grant used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Slovenian Leon Stergar (193-2000, agency: Octagon Europe) with 23 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Gavin Ware (206-1993, college: MSU) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Despite that victory Le Portel went down to sixteenth position due to points difference. Loser Limoges CSP Elite dropped to the tenth place with four games lost.
