Very important is a road loss of third rankedCholet Basket (4-3) against thirteenth ranked Sluc Nancy (3-4) on Friday night. Visiting Cholet Basket was defeated by Sluc Nancy in a tough game in Nancy 87-91 . They made 23-of-29 charity shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Nancy forced 20 Cholet turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Cholet was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American guard Landers Nolley II (201-2000, college: Cincinnati) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds. Stephane Gombauld (205-1997) helped adding 22 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Gerald Ayayi (191-2001) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Nathan De Sousa (190-2003, agency: Network Sports International) scored 14 points and 6 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Four Nancy and five Cholet players scored in double figures. Cholet Basket's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Nancy moved-up to tenth place. Cholet at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Chalon/Saone and Bourg.
