There was an upset when higher rankedCholet Basket (4-5) was defeated on the road by fifteenth ranked Saint-Quentin (2-7) 77-68 on Saturday. Saint Quentin made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. American guard Nick Johnson (191-1992, college: Arizona, agency: ASE) stepped up and scored 14 points and 9 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Jordan Caroline (201-1996, college: Nevada) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Saint-Quentin players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Nathan De Sousa (190-2003, agency: Network Sports International) with 14 points and 7 assists and point guard Gerald Ayayi (191-2001) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saint Quentin moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Gravelines. Cholet lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Nancy.
