There was no surprise when 12th rankedBesancon (2-12) was crushed at home by third ranked STB Le Havre (11-3) 88-56 on Friday. Le Havre dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Besancon 's 22. They outrebounded Besancon 46-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. Le Havre looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Naturalized Ivorian Cedric Bah (200-1994) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Haitian-Canadian forward Kevin Bercy (203-1994, college: St.Francis X.) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four STB Le Havre players scored in double figures. Swedish forward David Hook (197-1999, college: E.Wyoming) responded with 16 points and scored 8 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks. Le Havre keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Levallois and Fos-sur-Mer. Besancon lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Poissy.
