Everything went according to plan when seventh rankedStrasbourg U21 (7-3) edged at home 10th ranked ASVEL U21 (4-6) 81-79 on Saturday. Strasbourg U21 forced 21 ASVEL U21 turnovers. Strangely ASVEL U21 outrebounded Strasbourg U21 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Oscar Wembanyama notched 18 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Logan Bourgeois supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even 22 points and 7 rebounds by Ilian Moungalla (194-2007) did not help to save the game for ASVEL U21 . Pape-Djibril Diouf added 15 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Strasbourg U21 moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Nanterre U21 and Le Mans U21. Loser ASVEL U21 keeps the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Chalon U21.
