Regular Season Round 10: Le Mans - Chalon/Saone 87-93

There was a minor upset when 6th rankedLe Mans (6-4) lost at home to eighth ranked Chalon/Saor (6-4) 93-87 on Saturday. Chalon/Saone made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Le Mans turnovers. Cameroonian-American point guard Jeremiah Hill (188-1995, college: Valdosta St.) notched 35 points (!!!), 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and American forward Zac Cuthbertson (201-1996, college: Coastal, agency: JCK Sports Group) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Hill is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by American power forward TaShawn Thomas (203-1993, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) did not help to save the game for Le Mans . His fellow American import Shannon Bogues (190-1997, college: SF Austin) added 23 points for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chalon/Saone moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Le Mans and Bourg.
