LeaderSTB Le Havre delivered the fourteenth victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked Lyon (8-9) 98-64 . Le Havre dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Lyon 's 26 and made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Congolese power forward Earvine Bassoumba (205-1996) stepped up and scored 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners and Haitian-Canadian forward Kevin Bercy (203-1994, college: St.Francis X.) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four STB Le Havre players scored in double figures. responded with 14 points and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. STB Le Havre have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-3 record. Loser Lyon dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Saint Vallier.
