Regular Season Round 12: Le Mans - Gravelines 87-66

Very expected game when 15th rankedGravelines-Dunkerque (2-10) was rolled over on the road by eighth ranked Le Mans (7-5) 87-66 on Saturday. Le Mans dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Gravelines-Dunkerque ' 30. Le Mans forced 24 Gravelines turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward TaShawn Thomas (203-1993, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 14 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) and the other American import Shannon Bogues (190-1997, college: SF Austin) who added 11 points and 4 assists during the contest. Le Mans' coach Guillaume Vizade felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward David Joplin (203-2002, college: Marquette) with 12 points and 6 rebounds and forward Valentin Chery (200-1997) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Le Mans moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Chalon/Saone. Gravelines lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Saint Quentin.
