There was a surprise result when eighteenth rankedALM Evreux (6-12) beat at home higher ranked Poitiers (9-9) 85-80 on Friday. Evreux forced 22 Poitiers turnovers. The best player for the winners was naturalized Portuguese point guard Anthony Da Silva (185-2001) who scored 7 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Luxembourg forward Ben Kovac (196-2000) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Narcisse Ngoy (215-2004) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds and guard Imanol Prot (182-2004) added 17 points respectively. Four Poitiers players scored in double figures. Poitiers' coach Andy Thornton-Jones rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Evreux moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with Caen. Loser Poitiers dropped to the tenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Nantes and Gries-Souffel.
