Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedSIG Strasbourg (11-5) won against at home 15th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (3-13) 89-72 on Saturday. Strasbourg outrebounded Gravelines 43-21 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Marcus Keene (178-1995, college: CMU) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import guard Mike Davis Jr (193-1996, college: Queens, NC, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 27 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Valentin Chery (200-1997) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Gauthier Denis (201-1997, agency: Network Sports International) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Strasbourg moved-up to fourth place, which they share with ASVEL. Gravelines lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Saint Quentin.
