There was no surprise when 11th rankedVitre (8-10) was defeated on the road by second ranked Tours (14-6) 75-69 on Tuesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Tours made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Moustafa Haidara (206-2001) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Senegalese Moustapha Diop (206-2003) who added 11 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Nigerian-American power forward Fidelis Okereke (198-2002, college: CSUB) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Leo DeBruhl (190, college: UC Davis) scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Vitre's coach Fabien Calvez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tours have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-6 record having just two points less than leader Le Havre, which they share with Fos-sur-Mer. Vitre at the other side keeps the eleventh place with ten games lost.
