There was no surprise when 7th rankedLe Mans (10-8) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked SIG Strasbourg (13-5) 103-96 on Saturday. Strasbourg outrebounded Le Mans 42-24 including 18 on the offensive glass. Strasbourg looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Senegalese center Abdoulaye Ndoye (207-1995) who scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. American forward Ben Gregg (208-2002, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Trevor Hudgins (181-1999, college: NW Missouri St.) who recorded 16 points and 6 assists and his fellow American import Shannon Bogues (190-1997, college: SF Austin) added 21 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Le Mans' coach Guillaume Vizade rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. SIG Strasbourg have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Paris. Le Mans lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Cholet.
