Regular Season Round 23: Rennes - Tours 70-82

No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedTours (15-8) defeated on the road 9th ranked Union Rennes (10-12) 82-70 on Tuesday. Tours looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tours made 10 blocks. It was a great evening for naturalized Guinean forward Ousmane Kaba (195-2002) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized Central African guard Baptiste Tackamoud (188-2003) helped adding 23 points. point guard Warren Racine (188-1995) responded with 17 points and 6 assists and Hugo Kamdem scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tours moved-up to second place, which they share with Toulouse and Orchies. Rennes lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost.
