No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedJA Vichy (14-8) defeated at home 17th ranked Calvados (7-15) 90-86 . However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Vichy made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Caen was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for Cameroonian-Gabonese center Brice Eyaga (204-1998) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Alexandre Bouzidi (197-2004) contributed with 19 points, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four JA Vichy players scored in double figures. American point guard Siyani Chambers (183-1993, college: Harvard) replied with 34 points (!!!) and 8 assists and Bahamas forward Rashad Davis (195-1996, college: FIU) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Caen. Vichy moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Denain-Voltaire. Caen at the other side keeps the seventeenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Evreux.
