Fifth defeat of league's leaderPVBC (14-5) against third ranked Montbrison (14-5) 89-61 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of PVBC. It was a key game for the top position in the league. They outrebounded PVBC 38-19 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Montbrison looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by PVBC 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Manaelle Yerbe (183-2004) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). DR Congolese center Mariana Bulabula (187-1996, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Montbrison players scored in double figures. Swingman Samantha Peytour (177-2002) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and Daniela Dibanzilua (172-2004) added 19 points in the effort for PVBC. Montbrison have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with La Tronche and PVBC.
