Very predictable result in Orchies where fourth rankedOrchesien BC (18-8) beat 11th ranked Besancon (8-18) 81-77 on Friday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Naturalized Madagascar guard Mathias MMadi (196-2005, college: Seward County) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Guinean forward Abdoulaye Sy (201-1995) chipped in 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Orchesien BC players scored in double figures. Swedish forward David Hook (197-1999, college: E.Wyoming) responded with 18 points and swingman Claudien Eliezer-Vanerot (192-2001) scored 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Besancon's coach Laurent Kleefstra rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Orchesien BC have a solid three-game winning streak. Orchies moved-up to third place. Loser Besancon keeps the eleventh position with 18 games lost. They share it with Charleville and Chartres.
