There was no surprise in Paris where 14th rankedPole France (3-23) was crushed by ninth ranked Etoile Angers (13-13) 98-74 on Friday. Angers had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Senegalese center Tidiane Badiane (208-1995) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Yanis Harrath (178-1998) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists during the contest. Nathan Soliman (204-2009) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and forward Messi Yangala (203-2009) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Angers moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Saint Vallier and Val de Seine. Pole France at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 23 games lost.
