Regular Season Round 21: PVBC - Mondeville 65-58

No shocking result in a game in Voiron where third ranked PVBC (15-6) defeated 9th ranked Mondeville (12-10) 65-58 on Saturday. PVBC dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Mondeville's 28. PVBC forced 22 Mondeville turnovers. Swingman Samantha Peytour (177-2002) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and Daniela Dibanzilua (172-2004) chipped in 18 points and 5 steals. The best for the losing side was Hatoumata Diakite (191-2002) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and Amali Montout scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. PVBC maintains third place with 15-6 record having just three points less than leader La Tronche. Loser Mondeville dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Aulnoye. PVBC will meet Bihorel (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mondeville will play against Feytiat and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
