Second Stage Round 1: Lorient - Orchies 76-72

Everything went according to plan when Lorient defeated at home Orchesien BC 76-72 on Friday. Naturalized Moroccan guard Kevin Franceschi (193-1993, college: OKBU) nailed 25 points for the winning side and swingman Parfait NJiba (199-1989) accounted for 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Lorient's coach Pascal Thibaud used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Center Gaspard Gessat (203-2003) came up with 12 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Madagascar guard Mathias MMadi (196-2005, college: Seward County) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Orchies in the defeat. Lorient will meet Loon-Plage on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Orchesien BC will play against Levallois having rather not much hope for a victory.
