Regular Season Round 25: Poitiers - Champagne 74-82

The biggest surprise of round 25 in ProB was guestChampagne 's (15-10) road victory over 6th ranked Poitiers (14-11) 82-74 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Poitiers. Power forward Mael Hamon-Crespin (206-2004, college: WSU, agency: Network Sports International) fired 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Guillaume Grotzinger (190-2004) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Champagne players scored in double figures. Center Narcisse Ngoy (215-2004) produced 9 points and 11 rebounds and guard Aurele Brena-Chemille (192-2004, agency: Network Sports International) added 13 points (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Champagne moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Poitiers at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost.
