Second Stage Round 1: Angers - Metz 83-85

Very expected game when Etoile Angers was edged at home by Metz 85-83 on Friday. American guard Collin Turner (185-1995, college: Angelo St.) nailed 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Florian Fortas (191-2000) accounted for 21 points and 5 rebounds. Metz's coach Alexandre Palfroy used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Naturalized Ivorian swingman Junior Ouattara (191-2000) came up with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Algerian guard Dalil Hadi (185-2003) added 16 points and 7 assists respectively for Angers in the defeat. Metz will meet Vitre on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Etoile Angers will play against Besancon and hope to secure a win.
