Very important is a home loss of second rankedParis Basket (16-6) against fourteenth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (7-15) on Sunday night. Host Paris Basket was defeated by Gravelines-Dunkerque in a tough game in Paris 109-115 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Paris Basket. Gravelines made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Strangely Paris outrebounded Gravelines 40-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Paris was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Finnish point guard Edon Maxhuni (188-1998, college: LBSU, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 assists. American point guard Jacob Gilyard (175-1998, college: Richmond, agency: One Motive Sports) contributed with 15 points and 8 assists for the winners. American Lamar Stevens (202-1997, college: Penn State) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and international guard Nadir Hifi (188-2002) added 23 points and 4 assists (made all of his eight free throws) in the effort for Paris. Five Gravelines and four Paris players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gravelines moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Limoges. Defending champion Paris keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Nanterre.
