Everything went according to plan when fourth rankedSIG Strasbourg (15-7) defeated at home 8th ranked Cholet Basket (13-10) 94-89 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Marcus Keene (178-1995, college: CMU) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 4 assists. Guard Abdoulaye NDoye (198-1998) accounted for 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. American guard Noah Locke (190-1999, college: Providence) came up with 17 points and the other American import point guard TJ Campbell (177-1988, college: Portland) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively for Cholet in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Strasbourg maintains fourth place with 15-7 record. Loser Cholet Basket keeps the eighth position with ten games lost.
