Everything could happen in Les Sables-D'Ollone at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth rankedBerck and 11th ranked Les Sables had identical 18-14 record. But Les Sables was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Berck 84-78 on Friday night. Berck outrebounded Les Sables 40-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Berck looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (204-1988) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Power forward Alexis Thomas (208-1995) accounted for 8 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. point guard Louis Prolhac (177-1991) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists and American forward Keith Wright (203-1989, college: Harvard) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Les Sables in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Les Sables' coach Francois Sence rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Berck (19-14) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Fougeres and Lorient. Loser Les Sables dropped to the twelfth position with 15 games lost.
