No shocking result in a game when first rankedSaint Vallier (20-13) beat at home 7th ranked Etoile Angers (14-19) 96-79 on Friday. Saint Vallier forced 20 Angers turnovers and had a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for guard Sasha Derradji (195-2006) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Saint Vallier's coach Alexandre Casimiri used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Algerian guard Dalil Hadi (185-2003) came up with 22 points and 6 assists and Senegalese center Tidiane Badiane (208-1995) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Angers in the defeat. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Saint Vallier . They maintain first place with 20-13 record, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Etoile Angers keeps the seventh position with 19 games lost. They share it with Charleville and Loon-Plage. Saint Vallier will meet Rennes (#4) on the road in the next round.
