Second Stage Round 7: Tours - Mulhouse 81-82

Fifth-rankedTours (20-13) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Mulhouse (25-8) on Saturday. The visitors from Mulhouse managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81 . However their fans expected easier game. Mulhouse looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Marius Chambre (182-1998) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Czech swingman Patrick Samoura (196-2000, college: UT Tyler) contributed with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Center Moustafa Haidara (206-2001) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Theo Leon (180-1992) added 15 points and 5 assists in the effort for Tours. Five Tours players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mulhouse have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 25-8 record having just two points less than leader Saint Vallier. Tours at the other side still keeps top position with 13 games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
